Fans of “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Station 19” will be shocked after hearing this news

Christmas started early and courtesy of the Winter Finals of Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy.

Last Thursday ABC aired incredible episodes of Station 19 and Grey’s Anatomy, and in typical Shondaland style, the shows have left fans with cliffhangers and wanting to know more. This is the 18th season of Grey’s Anatomy and the fifth season of Station 19, and fans are excited to see the sequel to two popular Shondaland shows.

Here’s the thing, though: New episodes of Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 will not air on ABC this Thursday. In fact, viewers will have to wait until their champagne-filled New Years celebrations are over to watch their favorite shows again.

When Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 come back to ABC in 2022?

Both Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 will return to ABC for a special winter crossover event on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 8 p.m. ET. The network released the teaser below for the event, which will pick up where both shows left off.

This season, fans have seen Meredith develop a connection with returning character Dr. Nick Marsh (Scott speedman). What is more concerning, however, is Owen (Kevin mckidd) after viewers saw him stranded in a car that fell off a cliff in the dying seconds of the final.

As for Station 19, this season follows characters as they mourn the loss of beloved Dean Miller (Okieriete Onaodowan). Dean, sadly, died of injuries sustained in the line of duty. The last episode also focused on Andy (Jaina Lee Ortiz) and Sullivan (Boris Kodjoe) and on who will be the new female leader.

We will wait to see what will happen in 2022!
