Feeling of fear in Rajasthan, Cong’s government has no right to be in power: Raje

Targeting the Congress government in Rajasthan over the brutal murder of tailor Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on Monday asked if Yogi Adityanath can establish peace in Uttar Pradesh, why can’t Ashok Gehlot not do it.

She said a sense of fear and insecurity has arisen in the state that should be eliminated.

Raje called for the death penalty for the defendant in this case and also advocated for modern training of the police force.

She said it was completely a failure of the intelligence system.

After meeting Kanhaiya Lal’s family members at their residence, Raje held a press conference separately.

“Police failed to provide Kanhaiya Lal’s safety despite his complaints. He would not have been killed if he had obtained police protection. The Ashok Gehlot government of Rajasthan bears full responsibility for Kanhaiya Lal’s murder” , she said.

She added that the Congress government has no right to stay in power.

“When Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath can establish peace in Uttar Pradesh by eliminating all atmosphere of terror, why can’t Ashok Gehlot do it here,” Raje asked.

She was accompanied by former BJP state chairman Ashok Parnami and other leaders.
