jesse williamsThe co-parenting relationship with ex-wife Aryn Drake-Lee got a bit more rocky after the realtor accused the actor of erratic behavior, according to a recent report. Drake-Lee is now asking a judge to award him primary custody of their two children.
According to legal documents obtained by Radar Online, which broke the story, the 40-year-old accuses the former ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star of failing to meet the co-parenting schedule currently in place.
Drake-Lee asked the court to change the agreement so that Williams had scheduled visitation rights on the first, third and fifth weekends of each month instead of joint custody. She also accused the star of not being transparent about his work schedule and now wants the court to hand over planning details of his future filming plans.
The woman also claimed that Williams’ work schedule, her decision to fire their nanny in March 2020, whom she later rehired, the pandemic and other circumstances, “resulted in increased inconsistency, longer absences , regular last minute cancellations and other issues that are incredibly disruptive to our children’s lives.
“I request a change to the custody schedule and other judgment provisions to better reflect the new reality of our lives and, most importantly, to properly and positively meet the needs of our children,” she wrote.
She continued, “I tried to contact Jesse to resolve these issues to no avail. In May 2020, I sent a detailed communication with my concerns about their health and exhaustion, which Jesse read and ignored. Since then, I’ve sent several messages about the recurring issues, but he continued this pattern of not participating in meaningful conversations or strategies about their health.
She noted that since the stars of ‘Grey’s’ came out in May 2021, “there have been several instances where Jesse informed me with very little notice that he would be gone for weeks or months at a time to work, so he had to cancel his timepiece.”
“When I reminded Jesse of his cancellations and informed him of the plans made because of said cancellations, he resorted to erratic behavior to try to coerce me into acquiescing to his demands; he insults me, uses threatening language and bullying tactics such as threatening to send the police to my house, which makes me fear for my safety and that of our children,” she said.
The former couple share two grandchildren, Maceo and Sadie Williams. Drake-Lee filed for divorce from the actor in 2017 after five years of marriage and 13 years together. They settled in 2020 and agreed to joint legal and physical custody of their children.
The ‘Cabin in the Woods’ star promised to pay her ex a total of $50,629 a month in child support until October 2019, then the amount would drop to $40,000 a month, the report reported. point of sale. A hearing is scheduled for April. Williams has yet to respond to the claims.
