The Union Civil Service Commission has released the date for the UPSC ESE 2022 Preliminary Exam. The Phase I Exam will take place on February 20, 2022. Candidates who sit for the Engineering Services 2022 can check the schedule on the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
The preliminary examination will take place in two shifts – the first shift will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the second shift will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., as per official notice.
The first shift will include general studies and an engineering aptitude test and the duration of the exam will be 2 hours. The total mark is 200. The second quarter will include civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics and telecommunications engineering. The duration of the exam is 3 hours and questions of 300 points will be asked.
The registration process was launched on September 22 and closed on October 12, 2021. This recruitment campaign is being conducted to fill approximately 247 vacancies, including 8 vacancies for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) ( 06 vacancies for musculoskeletal disabilities including cured leprosy, dwarfism, victims of acid attacks and muscular dystrophy and 02 vacancies for the hearing impaired).
