Meredith Gray has deep roots in Seattle – so deep it’s hard to imagine her living anywhere else. But, after dividing his time between hospitals in Seattle and Minnesota for much of Grey’s Anatomy Season 18, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) now has to decide where she wants to work and live permanently. the Grey’s Anatomy The promo for season 18, episode 14 shows Meredith contemplating leaving Seattle’s Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital for good.
Meredith’s history at Gray Sloan dates back long before the hospital was even called Gray Sloan. Her mother, Ellis Grey, was a legendary surgeon at the hospital and Meredith grew up wandering the halls of the hospital when it was known as Seattle Grace. But, Ellis has also worked with a surgeon named David Hamilton (Peter Gallagher) who has now offered Meredith to run a research center and be the chief of general surgery at his Minnesota hospital. This offer is further complicated by the fact that Meredith’s new boyfriend, Nick Marsh (Scott Speedman), works at the same hospital and seems quite ready to put down roots with her.
It looks like Meredith is considering moving to Minnesota pretty seriously. In the promo for episode 14, she talks to her daughter Zola about the possibility of them moving across the country. Meanwhile, in the rest of the promo, Maggie (Kelly McCreary) and Winston (Anthony Hill) go full-power as a couple as they team up to save a young girl’s life in an operation Maggie calls “terrifying. “. The 13-year-old patient has already had two heart surgeries, and Maggie offers a risky third where they cut her heart in half. It sounds like a pretty incredible medical innovation, the kind that usually only happens at Gray Sloan Memorial Hospital. Even if Meredith leaves Seattle, it looks like her sister Maggie will carry on the Gray Sloan legacy.
